REDEFINING TREATMENT OF PEDIATRIC OROFACIAL TRAUMA CARE
The UNC Dental Trauma Team is a multi-specialty team at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry specializing in the care and planning of complicated post-dental trauma challenges and cases of congenitally missing teeth.
The Trauma Care team provides intermediate and long-term care and consultation for children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced orofacial trauma by using and developing evidence-based guidelines and protocols for managing orofacial trauma. The Trauma Team also reviews cases where there are multiple congenitally missing teeth in a growing patient.
